Andrea Innocenzi, born in 2000, is the fourth player available to coach Giuseppe Barbone for the New Mater Volley Castellana Grotte roster ahead of the upcoming Credem Banca men’s national A3 series volleyball championship.
Born in Segrate (Milan) and raised as a volleyball player with Diavoli Rosa Brugherio (with whom he played in the A3 series for four seasons between 2019 and 2023), Innocenzi, 6’11”, played a key role last season with Domotek Reggio Calabria, leading them to promotion to the A2 series via the playoffs and victory in the A3 Italian Cup and the A3 Supercup. After making his Superleague debut in the 2023/2024 season with Allianz Milano, Innocenzi also played for Delta Group Porto Viro in the A2 series.
