Volley Prata is delighted with the fruitful meeting that brought together the top management of the yellow-blue club—President Maurizio Vecchies, Vice President Gianni Bertolo, and Sporting Director Luciano Sturam—and those of the PalaCrisafulli management team, Sistema Basket Rosa. The meeting was necessary to assess the possibility of the Pordenone facility hosting Super League games next season, and the atmosphere was more than relaxed and positive, with the sports clubs also supported by institutional representatives: the mayors of Pordenone and Prata Basso and Cescon, along with the Pordenone Sports Councilor Elena Ceolin and Prata City Councilor Daya De Nardi.
“Everything went very well because everything we asked for was granted,” said President Maurizio Vecchies. “There was great openness and availability, even regarding the most demanding requests, such as those regarding television previews. The arena has been improved compared to our previous experience. The video wall is a wonderful tool, and the sound system is new. A new entrance and hospitality area will be built in the coming months, and the network will also be implemented. Essentially, there wasn’t much discussion because we sensed everyone’s strong desire to host us and let us play here. Pordenone. And for this, we can only thank Mayor Alessandro Basso, Councilor Elena Ceolin, and representatives of Sistema Basket Rosa, Tita Peresson and Roberto Moro, as well as Sistema Basket President Davide Gonzo. Having a home is a first, fundamental step for us. Now we will move forward with even greater enthusiasm and energy to have the opportunity to play this first, historic Super League at our best and without disruptions.
