After a one-year stay, Argentine international Pablo Kukartsev is leaving Cucine Lube Civitanova. A key offensive force throughout his career, the athlete stepped up to the plate in the 2025/26 season with the Italian runner-up team, despite being aware of the three-hitter formation adopted by coach Giampaolo Medei. The opposite hitter set aside personal glory to enhance the technical level and experience of the Cucine Lube group, encouraging the growth of his younger teammates, and of course, always being ready for the game. Perfectly integrated into the team and among the most cheered by the fans at the end-of-year celebrations, the 203 cm giant reached the Scudetto Final with the red and whites, helping Lube qualify for the next CEV Champions League and the Del Monte® Super Cup Final Four.
Pablo Kukartsev (opposite player, Cucine Lube Civitanova):
“The opportunity to represent this great club has made me proud. I also feel fortunate to have shared the field with my teammates and the staff; everyone made me feel part of the red and white family, helping me grow and improve as a player.
My family also had a wonderful time in Civitanova. We say goodbye with a certain sadness, because we felt at home thanks to the affection and kindness of those around us. It was a pleasure to live in such a beautiful environment. The club, the city, and its people will forever remain in our memories.
