The last call. SAV Trebaseleghe Silvolley is playing for its place in Serie A3 with this final attempt to reopen the game against Stadium Mirandola, an opponent who has so far proven more solid and consistent than the Mussi Padua team.

After a resounding defeat in Game 1, away from home in Modena, the Trebaseleghe team showed a solid and tenacious performance in Game 2, at home, but were unable to prevail despite the consistently close scores in each set.

Assistant Coach Marzola: “On Sunday (March 29), SAV Trebaseleghe played an intense and hard-fought Game 2 against Mirandola, losing 1-3. However, it was a beautiful match, balanced and fought to the very end, confirming the team’s great fighting spirit.” In Game 3, she continued, “We’ll need the same intensity seen in Game 2, with even more clarity in key moments.”

Head coach Maria Ilaria Donadi: “(In Game 2), the team showed character, reacting with unity after the lackluster performance in Game 1, demonstrating a refusal to back down. Mirandola appeared more organized at times, but the balance of the match was decided by a very limited number of balls. (During the Easter break), the focus was on maintaining a high level in the break phase, with the goal of increasing aggressiveness on serve and in the block-defense system. The priority, however, will be work on reception: at home, Mirandola will be able to count on greater confidence and an even more incisive serve.”

On Sunday, April 12th, at 6:00 PM in Mirandola, the decision will be made as to whether there’s still a stretch of trail to cover or whether it’s time to return to Base Camp…

The Trebaseleghe crowd, who were incredibly enthusiastic in Race 2, will be able to follow their favorites on YouTube, of course, sending all their positive energy across the Po!
