Conad Reggio Emilia has already secured first place in the White Group. The Emilians are overcoming the disappointment of their comeback in the Del Monte® Coppa Italia A3 Final with the certainty of advancing to the Promotion Playoff, where they will face either Castellana Grotte or Reggio Calabria, the latter of which will defeat them in the Coppa Italia. Reggio Emilia needs at least one point to secure the “best first place”: the team with the most points per game, in addition to playing in the Promotion Playoff as the top seed, will also qualify for the Del Monte® Supercoppa.

Second and third place in the White Group have already been decided, with Belluno Volley and ErmGroup Altotevere San Giustino occupying the positions, with the Umbrians sitting out the weekend to observe the bye-week. Gabbiano FarmaMed Mantova can secure fourth place, but must watch their backs against Sarlux Sarroch, which sits in fifth place with two points to make up before the Sardinian derby. The other team competing in the Sardinian derby, CUS Cagliari, has already mathematically qualified for the playoffs. It’s just a matter of deciding whether to stay in sixth place or reach seventh and final. Negrini CTE Acqui Terme is currently seventh and can still aim for sixth place, just two points behind. The minimum objective, however, remains to defend their current position, threatened by Personal Time San Donà di Piave, eighth, two points behind. Stadium Mirandola and Monge Gerbaudo Savigliano are already mathematically in the playoffs. Sav Trebaseleghe is also currently classified for the relegation play-offs, but moving up the table would help avoid a last-minute overtaking by Napoli in the cross-table with the other group, thus avoiding direct relegation.

The winner of the regular season in the Blue Group is yet to be determined, which will then have the chance to play the Promotion Playoff against Reggio Emilia. The two teams tied at the top of the table, BCC Tecbus Castellana Grotte and Domotek Reggio Calabria, are competing. They have the same number of wins and are facing a long-distance clash with a potential outcome decided by a set quotient. The top two teams in the standings will play home matches against the third and fourth-place teams, respectively; JV Gioia del Colle, which is aiming to maintain its position at the bottom of the podium, and Aurispa DFV Lecce, which is determined to close the one-point gap on Gioia del Colle and knows it cannot drop below fourth place if it loses at least one point. Fifth-place Avimecc Modica can make a final push for fourth place and avoid losing its position by earning at least one point. In the head-to-head matchup, Viridex Sabaudia and EnergyTime Campobasso are battling for sixth and seventh place, but based on the result in Modica, there’s still a chance of dreaming of fifth place. The playoff in Puglia between two teams tied on 13 points, Green Volley Galatone and Terni Volley Academy, is a thrilling one: the winner stays up, the loser advances to the Play-Offs. Gaia Energy Napoli is one step away from direct relegation, finishing last in the Blue Group and bottom of the combined group standings based on match odds. A win for Napoli in Modica and a loss for Trebaseleghe in the White Group would be needed to avoid direct relegation.
