“This appointment was made with great conviction by the owners, who, I would like to point out, are the longest-serving in Italian volleyball, with 35 years of uninterrupted commitment, including 30 years spent as protagonists in the top division,” stated President Simona Sileoni. “Marko has always demonstrated a genuine attachment to our club, both on and off the court. We recognize in him values that are fundamental to Lube: respect, loyalty, deep roots, and great professionalism. He is a highly respected figure in volleyball, with a profound understanding of our environment and who has always approached the club with integrity and responsibility. Entrusting him with this role means continuing a strong and sincere bond, with the belief that he will be able to instill the same principles that characterized his career as an athlete in his management role.”
