A.S. Volley Lube announces that it has appointed Marko Podrascanin as sporting director of Cucine Lube Civitanova.
This marks the beginning of a prestigious new professional chapter for the now former Serbian middle blocker, born in 1987: after an extraordinary career on the Taraflex, Podrascanin embarks on his first ever managerial experience, putting his expertise, charisma, and vision at the service of the Cucine Lube Club.
This is a choice with tremendous symbolic and sporting value. Marko Podrascanin is a figure of the highest international standing, appreciated by fans, respected by professionals, and recognized throughout the volleyball world as an example of professionalism, leadership, and work ethic. He is a man with an intimate knowledge of the Lube environment and, over the years spent as a player with the Cucine Lube team, has built a special bond with the club, the local area, and the red and white fans.
It was Lube who brought him to the Italian league way back in 2007, when he was just 20 years old, sensing the talent, personality, and potential of the young center back. Now his journey continues in a new guise, but with the same sense of belonging.
