Red and white setter Santiago Orduna spoke this morning on Radio Arancia, Lube Volley’s media partner. A guest on the program “7×4” and prompted by questions from host Alessandro Ranieri, the expert setter analyzed Cucine Lube Civitanova’s current situation. This exchange comes just days before the CEV Champions League away match, scheduled for Tuesday, February 10th (8:00 p.m.), and a week before the early game on Saturday, February 14th (6:00 p.m.) at the Eurosuole Forum against his former team, Valsa Group Modena.
Santiago Orduna (setter, Cucine Lube Civitanova):
“We’ll use the Coppa Italia Final Four weekend to train hard. We would have preferred to defend the trophy we currently hold, but that’s how it went, and we’re looking ahead. We have a Champions League away game in France and a home SuperLega match against Modena. These games will weigh heavily on the season. On Tuesday, we’ll have to secure our top spot in Pool E in Montpellier. It won’t be easy! The French team, the best French team along with Tours, has already beaten Leuven and Warsaw at home. We’ll then have to give it our all in the classic on Saturday, February 14th, against Modena, at 6:00 PM, a day when the massive support of our fans will be indispensable!”
