Luca Buzzo will be supporting Coach Nicola Esposito on the Romeo Sorrento bench for his third season.
The arrival of the young Cagliari-born coach has brought him and the club a wealth of sporting success.
Luca, this will be your third year on the Romeo Sorrento bench after a long season that saw you busy on various fronts, from Serie A2 to supporting the youth sector.
This will be my third year in Sorrento, and I’m truly happy about it. Over the years, Sorrento has become a second home to me: from day one, I’ve met people who made me feel welcome and part of a family, and this is something I’ll always carry with me. The last few seasons have brought us great sporting success, but they’ve also been a significant opportunity for personal and professional growth. It’s been a very intense season, because in addition to working with the first team, I’ve also had the opportunity to follow and support the youth sector, which continues to grow and produce promising young players. Just think of Farcasiu and D’Ambrosio, called up to the Under-19 and Under-17 national teams, respectively, but also of other young players who will have the opportunity to join the first team and continue their development. I believe this represents an important asset for the entire club. We are approaching this new season with enthusiasm, with the desire to continue working hard and achieve even more success.
