Just over three months before the start of the championship, the 2026 edition of Volley Mercato concluded at the Zanhotel & Meeting Centergross in Bentivoglio (Bologna). This traditional event, organized by the Lega Pallavolo Serie A, brings together clubs, managers, and industry professionals to discuss the key issues surrounding the new season. Three days dedicated to organizational updates, secretarial activities, marketing, communications, memberships, and governance, culminating with the most anticipated moment: the official presentation of the 2026/27 season and the Serie A championship calendars.
Also present at the event was the red and white delegation (pictured), led by General Manager Vullo, who followed the live presentation of the schedule that will accompany Coach Giannini’s team throughout the twenty-six regular season matchdays.
The season of the new Associati Fisiomed Macerata will kick off on October 18th in Campania at the PalaVesuvio against Virtus Volley Napoli, a team ready to compete with high expectations in the league following the club’s restructuring.
The home debut at the Banca Macerata Forum is scheduled for the second round, when the red and white fans will welcome the team back for a match against Sviluppo Sud Palmi. The third round will once again feature Macerata in front of their home crowd against Porto Viro, before the away match in Pineto, Abruzzo, and the home match against Lagonegro.
