A top-tier opponent for Allianz Milano, who fly to Serbia today to face Red Star Belgrade tomorrow for the first leg of the Challenge Cup round of 16. The match will be played at 6:00 PM at the Voždovac Sports Center in Belgrade, in the neighborhood of the same name linked to the leader of the first Serbian uprising against the Ottoman Empire, Karađorđe Petrović, known as Vožd (meaning “the leader”). The arena has a capacity of approximately 2,000 spectators, much smaller than Belgrade’s basketball arenas, namely the over 8,000 at Hala Aleksandar Nikolić and the 26,000 at Stark Arena.
