Ferre Reggers is the new opposite hitter for Sir Susa Scai Perugia!
The young Belgian player, born in 2003, will form the attacking lineup alongside captain Giannelli. He’s ready to give his all in this new adventure, which represents a significant leap in his career in the Italian league, where he’s already excelled during three consecutive seasons with Allianz Powervolley Milano. The call from Perugia? He calls it an “honor”: “I can only say that for me it was and will always be an honor. I could never have imagined playing for Perugia. It’s always been my dream to play for a team like this, especially at this age!” And on this subject, he also reveals a personal secret: “As a child, I always secretly dreamed of playing for the national team and for Perugia!”

Born in 2003, turning 23 in July, the Belgian opposite hitter’s jumping ability is one of his strengths, further enhanced by his impressive height of 2.3 meters. Aware of his qualities, he approaches Perugia with a desire to learn, grow, and further improve, and the opportunity to work in a coaching staff like the Juventus one is a goldmine: “I think I have a good jump physically and am very fast and explosive for someone over 2 meters tall. I also “understand” the ball well, so I can cut the ball diagonally well. There’s still work to be done on the serve, but I’m sure Lorenzetti will do a lot of work!”

The young Belgian opposite hitter has outstanding performances: Ferre Reggers made his Superleague debut in the 2023/2024 season with Milan, a team he played for three consecutive years. In these three seasons, he has topped all individual performance rankings, ranking first overall in the Italian championship for total points calculated across the Regular Season and Playoffs with 1,386 points and 396 break points in 83 matches played, averaging 4.47 points per set. He also holds first place for number of attack winners in three seasons: 1,192. He also has impressive blocking numbers (99 block winners in three seasons) and 95 aces in three years.
