Perugia ready for Modena

An afternoon dedicated to recharging the muscles for the Block Devils, who, after the energy expenditure of the very long Champions League match in Gran Canaria and yesterday’s return trip, arrive at Modena on Sunday at 6 pm, another of the great “classics” of the Italian Super League between two teams that know each other well: there have been 55 previous meetings, 35 of which Perugia has won. It’s a match that always has a special meaning for the entire team, as confirmed by Juventus’ Argentine center back Sebastian Solè when introducing the match: “It will certainly be a good match because Modena is developing a good game, they’re close there in the standings, so from that point of view I think it will be a good match because we’re close there in terms of points, so it will also be a good opportunity to potentially win and pick up a few points. The trip to the Canary Islands was exactly what we saw: a long, difficult match, a long journey, but we’re prepared, we know that this will be the rhythm in January.
