Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, after a misstep in Game 1 of the Scudetto Playoff Quarterfinals, which came after more than two hours of play, is returning to Europe. Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 11th, at 7:30 PM, they will take to the court at the PalabancaSport for the second leg of the CEV Volleyball Cup Quarterfinals, facing the German team Berlin Recycling Volleys. The referees will be Slovenian Gregor Novak and Hungarian Tamas Jambor.

Advancement to the CEV Volleyball Cup Semifinals, the second-largest annual European club competition, is at stake. After defeating the German team 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-18 for the red and whites) in the first leg played a week ago in Germany, Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza will only need to win two sets to secure their place in the next round of the tournament.

Berlin Recycling Volleys has already faced Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza: before last week’s match, the two teams faced each other in Group C of the 2024 CEV Volley Champions League, with Piacenza prevailing in both the first and second legs, 3-1 at the PalabancaSport and 3-0 in Berlin. Piacenza won Group C on that occasion.
