Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 11th, at 7:30 PM, Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza will play the return match of the 2026 CEV Cup Quarterfinals. They will be playing at the PalaBancaSport against Berlin Recycling Volleys, who were defeated by Bovolenta and his teammates 3-0 in the first leg. Given this result, Coach Boninfante’s men will only need to win two sets to reach the semifinals of Europe’s second-largest competition.
Gas Sales will need to recover from Game 1 of the Credem Banca Playoff Quarterfinals, where they lost in a tie-break against Valsa Group Modena.
The German team, coming from the group stage of the CEV Champions League, will look to bounce back from their disappointing home defeat in an attempt to reach the Golden Set. The winner will face either Turkish side Fenerbahçe or Slovenian side Ljubljana, the latter having won the first leg tie-break.
