The network of clubs collaborating with the Allianz Diavoli Powervolley project, which focuses on training and developing young volleyball players, is expanding. A new and important partnership has been added to the volleyball network with Volley 2001 Garlasco, one of the most dynamic and structured clubs in the Lombardy volleyball scene.

The Allianz Diavoli Powervolley project is now one of the most successful youth volleyball partnerships in Italian volleyball. Officially launched in August 2019, the partnership between Powervolley Milano and Diavoli Rosa combines the expertise and ambitions of the two clubs, and this year it celebrated its sixth anniversary. This path was further strengthened in September 2024 by the arrival of Allianz as title sponsor of the youth sector, and subsequently, in October 2025, by the extension of the partnership to the women’s sector, involving all teams from minivolleyball to the Serie B championships.

Starting today, the project is enriched by a new addition thanks to the arrival of Volley 2001 Garlasco, a club founded in 2001 by current president Silvia Strigazzi, with a recent past in Serie A3 and a long-standing reference for volleyball in the province of Pavia. The black-and-green club, identified by its penguin symbol, stands out for its comprehensive structure, including a men’s and women’s sector, and a Sitting Volleyball team. The goal of the new partnership is to offer young athletes an even more comprehensive and gradual technical development.
