Giaffreda in Sarroch

This is why Volley Sarroch is happy to announce the reappointment of Francesco Giaffreda, who will wear the yellow-blue jersey for the 2026/2027 season.
Having arrived in Sarroch in the club’s historic first year in Serie A, the libero from Puglia immediately earned the trust of the club, his teammates, and the fans. He did so in the most authentic way: through daily work, respect, dedication, and a constant presence that over time has become a point of reference for the entire team. On the court, Francesco embodies reliability, competitive spirit, and a spirit of sacrifice. Off the pitch, he is one of those teammates every team would love to have by their side: always available, polite, respectful of roles and individuals, capable of contributing to the growth of the group with a smile and by example. Three seasons together have built something that goes beyond the simple relationship between athlete and club. They’ve created a bond built on mutual respect, belonging, and a shared journey that continues to look forward.
