On Sunday, February 8th, at 4:00 PM, Conad Reggio Emilia will return to the field for another away league match: the Granata will be playing at the “Marco Sguaitzer” sports hall in Mantua against Gabbiano FarmaMed Mantova, in a match that promises to be intense and full of meaning.
The Reggio Emilia team comes into the match strong from their tie-break victory in the last round against Sarroch, a victory achieved at the end of a hard-fought match, in which Conad was able to react in decisive moments. Mantua, on the other hand, is coming off an away defeat at Cagliari and will be looking for redemption in front of their home crowd.
Sunday’s match will be the third match of the season between the two teams, not counting the two joint training sessions in preseason. So far, the record is favorable to Conad, who won both the first leg of the regular season and the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia. But the numbers aren’t deceiving: the race looks anything but easy.
