Fresh from a strong home win against Sabaudia and a day off granted by coach Enzo Distefano, Avimec Modica returned to the gym this morning to prepare for their second consecutive match at the PalaRizza. This Sunday at 6:00 PM, the Contea team will face the “powerhouse” JV Gioa del Colle in front of their home crowd.

The white and blues will have to raise the bar, because the Apulian team will be coming to the PalaRizza. After a slow start to the season, they have recovered and climbed the standings to third place, which, considering the potential of the Apulian roster, is a very close match for the Bari team.

The white-and-blue team, despite the difficulties encountered in recent weeks, where they had to make up for the absences of some members of the starting six (replaced with dignity by those called up by Enzo Distefano), is going through a positive period (the victories against Lecce and Sabaudia are tangible evidence of this) and will continue to work with the same intensity to try to extend their positive streak, knowing that, on Sunday afternoon, on the other side of the net they will find one of the most highly rated sixes to advance to the top flight.
