Gas Sales Bluenergy Sitting Volley’s season continues, with the fifth matchday of the Serie A1 men’s sitting volleyball championship scheduled for Sunday, April 19th, in Sesto San Giovanni at the Palazzetto Dante Falk.
After two victories in the fourth round of the season, the red and white team returns to the field for another crucial event in the race to reach the championship finals. The team, led by Giovanni Marani and Vincenzo Gagliardi, arrives at the event buoyed by their performances in the Sannazzaro De’ Burgundi round, which allowed the red and whites to secure first place in Group A with 16 points, ahead of SV2001 Garlasco and Ad Astra ASD, who are four points behind.
The event represents a new and important date in the team’s calendar, as they engage in a day of competition that will combine sporting competition, inclusion, and shared values. Sitting volleyball, a rapidly growing Paralympic sport in Italy, continues to be a shining example of a sport open to all, capable of breaking down barriers and promoting integration and team spirit.
