Green Volley’s rebuilding of the middle blockers, following the departures of Musardo, De Col, and Caciagli, is underway with the acquisition of Alessandro Stufano, a Bari native who trained at Pallavolo Bari. Twenty-four years old in December, with two Serie B championships and five seasons in Serie A3 between Belluno, Reggio Calabria, and Sabaudia, the Apulian player has joined the three-point lineup, bringing a scoring efficiency of approximately 57%. A young player, technically gifted and quick on his reflexes, he possesses a distinctive ability to read the opponents’ attacking movements, allowing him to decipher the opposing middle blockers’ intentions. His presentation to the management team made a positive impression, and the comments he made are a good omen for his Salento adventure.
