Two young local talents are carving out a place for themselves in the Lazio volleyball scene. Gabriele Baldas and Mattia Cominiani, both from the Plus Volleyball Sabaudia youth sector, which works in conjunction with Cosmos Latina, have been selected to represent the Latina Territorial Qualification Center in the 2026 Trofeo dei Territori – Aequilibrium Cup.
This call-up validates the work carried out by both clubs in the men’s youth sector and recognizes the growth of the two athletes, who have been placed in a high-level technical environment alongside the best prospects from the Lazio provinces. The tournament, which concludes on May 1st, represents one of the highlights of the youth season, pitting the regional teams against each other in a competition that is both a showcase and a testing ground.
There is great satisfaction at Plus Volleyball Sabaudia and Cosmos Latina, where the call-up to the team is seen as a concrete sign of the quality of the work done daily in the gym. The presence of Baldas and Cominiani in the CQT Latina selection process confirms the validity of the project shared between the two organizations, increasingly focused on promoting young people and building structured technical paths.
