Tommaso De Santis, the young setter from Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, has been called up to the Italian national team. Starting tomorrow, April 19th, he will be training in Alberobello (Bari) with the Under-18 National Team, which will conclude on Thursday, April 23rd.
The young player, born in 2009, along with seventeen other athletes, has been called up to the third training camp of the season, following those in Messina and Vairano, for the Under-18 Men’s National Team.
Tommaso De Santis is in his first season with Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza. A native of Arezzo, Tuscany, he won a Serie C championship in Tuscany, participated in the Tuscan regional selections, and recently took part in a training camp in Cellatica (Brescia) at the recommendation of Emanuele Sbravati, Head of Beach Volleyball Selection Processes. This season, he has been called up to the first team competing in the SuperLega championship on two occasions, with Modena and Cuneo.
