The 2026 CEV Champions League returns this week to play the fifth round of the Main Phase. On Thursday, February 12, Trentino Itas will play their third and final Pool A away match in Slovenia, hosting ACH Volley Ljubljana. To secure a spot in the round of 16 with a match to spare, they need to win at least two sets, equivalent to one point; a win that would mathematically place them second in the standings.
“It’s a crucial match for our Champions League campaign, and at the same time it’s extremely difficult, because we’ll be playing at the home of our closest rivals and immediately after a double-header from the previous weekend,” coach Marcelo Mendez emphasized on the eve of the match.
