The Under 19 Championship Finals are here. Tomorrow (Friday) Marino-Cisterna Volley’s adventure begins in the world championship competition taking place in Emilia-Romagna, between Parma and Piacenza. Coached by Francesco Ronsini, the Bulls will play on the taraflex court at the Piacenza sports hall: their first match is at 11:30 a.m., against Anderlini Modena. They’ll return to the court in the afternoon to face Trentino (at 6:30 p.m.). The final match of the group is on Saturday (at 9:30 a.m.) against Diavoli Rosa Milano.

The top two teams in Group A advance to the Championship semifinals: two clashes with the top teams in Group B. The third- and fourth-place teams will compete for fifth through eighth place. The semifinals are scheduled for Saturday afternoon, with the finals taking place Sunday morning. The goal is to give it their all and achieve the best possible finish. But being among the top eight Under-19 teams in Italy is already an achievement that confirms the excellent level reached by the club.

Among the key figures in coach Francesco Ronsini’s team is undoubtedly Jacopo Tosti: the Roman center-back (who turns 18 in September) has also received a call-up from the Italian national team for a training camp with Vincenzo Fanizza’s Under-22 national team, scheduled for May 21st to 28th.
