The enthusiasm of those who look to the future and the ambition of those who want to make their mark. Vero Volley Monza welcomes a new international talent for the 2026/2027 season: Belgian spiker Pierre Perin arrives, ready to wear the red and blue jersey in the upcoming SuperLega championship. Born in Liège, 22-year-old Perin arrives in Monza after winning the Belgian A-League with the VC Greenyard Maaseik club. Considered one of the most exciting prospects in Belgian volleyball, the 2004-born player has distinguished himself in recent years with his consistent performance and technical ability, earning the Rookie of the Year award in 2023/2024. Last season, he also performed impressively in Europe, finishing as the top scorer and top server in the CEV Cup.

Now is the chance to compete in the top Italian league. “I’m a young man with a lot of ambition. When Monza’s offer came in, it didn’t take me long to accept. Having the chance to play in the most competitive league in the world and join an important club like Vero Volley was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. Here, we have all the facilities and conditions to allow athletes to express themselves at their best,” were the first words of the new player from Monza. Perin describes himself as a well-rounded athlete, aware of his own strengths and eager to use them to serve the team: “I believe I can bring an effective serve and stability to the court. I’m a calm and balanced player, always ready to look for solutions in difficult moments. Technique is one of my main strengths.”
