Simone, born in 1999, is now a precious and irreplaceable presence in the team group, busy for eight seasons defending the second line with tireless spirit and professionalism.
From season to season he has become a point of reference not only on the field, but also for a group that has been able to count on his example: humility, silent work and attention to his teammates, qualities that make him a positive leader behind the net.
“The risk of using words already said in the Sarroch-Mocci case is very high!” – declares the ds Lai. “We are talking about an athlete who has collected 148 appearances with our jersey, who arrived at Sarroch at a very young age, an athlete and a person who is growing with us and we with him. By now it is a so-called “family affair”, we are linked by a common ambition and by the stubbornness of wanting to achieve it together. I expect a lot from him, because I know his potential very well, with coach Denora he has the opportunity to put himself in a higher gear, which will serve his growth process and our sporting project”
“It becomes difficult to find original words after all these years spent together”, says Simone. “I am about to start the eighth consecutive season here in Sarroch, and with each passing year the club sets increasingly ambitious goals. Someone like me can only be happy to embrace this way of thinking.
