Enrico Diamantini will continue to play for Cisterna Volley, thus living his second season at the Palasport in Viale delle Provincie. The middle blocker from the Marche region, 32 years old, 204 centimeters tall, will be one of the most experienced elements of the roster led by coach Daniele Morato. After 14 seasons in the top division, over 1300 points scored, of which about 300 blocking, Diamantini is ready to try his hand at the next Superleague championship, still wearing the Cisterna Volley jersey.
«I don’t like to talk about personal goals in the strict sense, but I like to distinguish between technical goals and goals related to my role within the group – the analysis of Enrico Diamantini – On a technical level, my aim is always to grow, improve some aspects of my game. Not because there is little to fix, but because I think that, at a certain age, the player is formed in his essence. However, this does not mean that there is no room for improvement: you can and must always aspire to do better. As for the group, I know that we more experienced players have an important responsibility: to be an example, in everything. And to help the younger ones grow. It happened last year too: I was one of the “oldest” in the roster, and it will be the same next season.
