Seven more days of waiting, and the official start of Cisterna Volley’s 2025-2026 season is just around the corner (the training camp is on August 20th). Training will then begin, with double sessions (every day with weight training in the morning and ball training in the afternoon). The first official tests are scheduled for September. On the 13th, the team will play away against Perugia, and a week later (September 20th) they will play again against the Umbrians on reversed courts. This first test of the season will not be just any opponent, but the best team, the strongest in Europe (in May, remember, they won their first Champions League). On September 27th, a home friendly against Aversa (A2). In October, they will play against Milan twice: the 4th and 5th will be played in Gubbio.
This is certainly a high-profile program before the eagerly awaited Bogdanka Volley Cup, on October 11th and 12th. This is an international volleyball tournament held in Poland, organized by the Tomasz Wójtowicz Foundation, now in its fourth edition. Cisterna’s opponents will be Bogdanka Luk Lublin, Jastrebski Weigel, and Projekt Warszawa.
