Middle blocker Gianluca Galassi and libero Domenico Pace, players from Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, are continuing their buildup to the World Championships in the Philippines from September 12th to 28th with the Men’s National Team.
After the international tournament with Turkey, Germany, and the Netherlands in Turin, the Men’s National Team will gather again tomorrow morning, Wednesday, September 3rd, directly at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport, from where they will depart for Tokyo for a training camp from September 4th to 9th, with the hosts, coached by Laurent Tillie.
In the Japanese capital, the Azzurri will play two friendlies at the LaLa Arena Tokyo Bay on September 6th (8:00 a.m. Italian time) and 7th (6:45 a.m. Italian time).
On September 9th, the Italian delegation will then fly to Manila to officially begin their pursuit of the world title.
