Cisterna Volley returned to training this afternoon after a Sunday off granted by the coaching staff. Before resuming practice, the entire team gathered in the video room, where they analyzed the test played on Saturday at Pala Barton, which ended with Perugia’s 4-0 victory.
Numerous situations were reviewed on video: attention was focused on what went wrong, what needs improvement, and the movements that need to be re-tested.
Alessandro Fanizza spoke about the Pala Barton test and the new joint training session awaiting Cisterna (Saturday, September 20th, again against Perugia, but this time at home).
“Facing the European champions in our first test of the season immediately gave us great motivation and, at the same time, exposed our weaknesses, the ones we need to work on to improve,” emphasized Alessandro Fanizza. “We analyzed many parts of the joint training session at Pala Barton with the staff, precisely the ones we struggled with. I think that at this point in the season, it’s much better for us to play against the strongest team in Europe rather than facing a team from a lower division.”
