Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza announces that Robertlandy Simon underwent muscle-tendon surgery this morning in Finland to repair a torn right leg, allowing him to return to the field in top condition. The player was accompanied by the club’s physiotherapist, Riccardo Anfosso.
The successful surgery was performed at the Pihlajalinna Hospital in Turku by Professor Lasse Lempainen, a leading specialist in orthopedic surgery who has worked with many international sports clubs.
Robertlandy Simon sustained the injury during final training sessions before the league match against Sonepar Padova.
The club’s medical staff will evaluate the player’s condition and recovery time daily.
