Reggio Calabria is ready and excited.
A match not to be missed
No, it certainly won’t be the Reggio team’s last match, but theoretically it could be their last home game of the year.
For this to be possible, the Amaranto must win and reopen the promotion playoff series against the very strong Conad Reggio Emilia.

Here’s everything you need to know about the series, Game 4, and more.

First and foremost, Domotek must win to keep the series afloat.
Game one smiled on the Emilians 1-3 (with the Amaranto winning the first set);
Game two defeated the Reggio team with a resounding 3-0 victory in front of over four thousand spectators at the Palacalafiore;

On Easter Sunday, Conad won with a resounding 3-0 victory in two very close sets, then taking flight in the third.

If Reggio wins Game 4, scheduled for 6:00 PM at the Palacalafiore, they will move on to Game 5, a possible matchup, already scheduled by Legavolley for Wednesday, April 15th at 8:30 PM at the Palabigi in Reggio Emilia.

If Domotek loses, Conad will be promoted to A2, while the Amaranto will not be eliminated but will have the opportunity to play a second chance, starting from the playoff semifinals, drawing the lowest-placed team from the three remaining teams in the regular season.

Meanwhile, the two Reggio teams, who already faced each other in the Coppa Italia Del Monte A3 final in Belluno, won by Coach Polimeni’s boys, will also duel on Sunday, April 26th, 2026, again at the Palabigi in Reggio Emilia for the Super Cup.

A huge crowd is expected for the match on Sunday, April 12th.

Antonio Polimeni – Coach
“If you played well below your level and managed to win the first two sets right away, it means we’re ‘a lot’. We’re confident in our abilities. Our peak performance is higher than that of Reggio Emilia, which has some truly outstanding individuals. But as a team, we’ve proven we’re there.”
On Sunday, however, the fans’ support will also be needed. “We have the great privilege of having over 4,000 people supporting us. Not everyone in this category has it, nor in the other higher category, and few even in the top categories. It’s an added bonus: where some players lack experience in preparing for the match, the support of the crowd comes through. It more than makes up for it.”
