Promotion to Serie A2 is still in the fans’ legs and minds, but at Domotek Volley, the atmosphere has already changed. The celebrations for the treble and the promotion to the next level are over, and the team is back on track. Dictating the new course is technical director Billy Gurnari, a historic figure and the driving force behind the Amaranto sports project.

“It’s time to draw a line under the sea and start over,” Gurnari began. “It’s been great to celebrate so far, but we need to get back to work, we need to get back to volleyball.”

The atmosphere, however, is not burdened by responsibility. On the contrary. “The air is always filled with great enthusiasm.”

The highlight of the summer program will be June 24th at the PalaCalafiore, where the youth sector’s closing celebration will be held. “We will present a certificate to our young volleyball players, a memento to immortalize this moment,” announced the technical director, emphasizing the importance of involving the new generations.

Gurnari was keen to reiterate the club’s strategy: a massive investment in its youth academy. “The club is young, and building a youth academy requires a completely different timeframe,” he explained. “Time is fine if you organize and plan it properly.”
