Leading the green-and-whites’ attack this season will be Modena native Pinelli, whose game dynamics will be shaped by his talent as a skilled setter. His technical training has illustrious roots. Having grown up in the youth teams of Modena Volley, a breeding ground for many champions, he has played on important courts, completing three seasons in Serie A1, twelve in Serie A2, and one in Serie A3. His training at Blu College Vigna di Valle, a leading federal youth development center founded in 2009 through a synergistic agreement between FIPAV and the Italian Air Force, stands out. The club, whose sporting project brought together Italy’s best young prospects, later evolved into the renowned Club Italia, competing in the Serie A2 championship. The 1991-born playmaker, standing 193 cm tall, possesses a powerful setter and a great command of the middle block, making him particularly unpredictable for the opposing front line. A scrupulous and perfectionist in his technique, he’s a workaholic in the gym, combined with a wealth of enthusiasm, as evidenced by his first comments:

“I’m very happy and satisfied with my choice and eager to begin this new adventure with Green Volley. I chose Galatone because it’s a team that strives to raise the bar with an ambitious project, and it’s a great challenge for me to be a part of it. I hope my experience can be helpful, and I’m confident that together we’ll seize the opportunity to play great volleyball and gain recognition and satisfaction. Furthermore, the warm welcome and warmth of the people I’ve received will be motivating, so I can’t wait to start this new season.”
