The mistake they made against Pineto has been paid a lot: the slip down in the ranking will be difficult to recover. They were at the 4th position of the ranking, then two defeats and now they are at the eight. Fiorese is now showing a discontinuity in game that could be really dangerous for the team.
Captain Dalla Libera has no doubts about it: “The match against Pineto is not easy to forget. It is not nice to lose in front of one’s supporters, but most of all it is not nice to lose that way. One of the most hurting things is to let the fans down and hear that silence at the end of the match: they never whistle at Palabassano, but that silence was worse that thousands of whistles. I remember in the match with Crema we got the hugest applauses ever, even if we lost, because we did our best and the people noticed it. Anyhow we can’t turn back time, we must go on. We didn’t play good in the last matches, more from a psychological than from a physical point of view. We must concentrate more and take care not to make mistakes when things are easy, as it happened with Pineto. It is true that we are going trough a difficult moment, but it is even true that two matches ago we were fourth and that with one victory we can climb the ranking”.
