245 THE ATHLETES STARRING IN THE VARIOUS EDITIONS
Bologna, 1990. That’s where the All Star Volley all started. A unique and special event. As always, the choice of the teams and its formula makes it different. Never the same. The show though, is always incredible. For the first official edition, dated 15th of march, two selections packed with “stars” go on court representing The Rest of the World and Europe.
Another 15 editions followed, all emotional and exciting. With the ones taking part in the Forli edition, the number of players will go up to 245.
Samuele Papi is the players partecipated the most through the years with 11 events. One less for Andrea Giani. Lower on the podium, Bernardi and Sartoretti with 9. The player who stamped his ticket most times and who is also playing in Forli is Vigor Bovolenta with his come back in the national team.
On sunday it will be his 8th times. One less for Zlatanov, Meoni. Mastrangelo and Fei.
Perazzolo, despite his young age, is already on 4 All Stars. The players making their debut will be 16. Two in the Italian shirt: Manià and Travica.

FROM SATURDAY BOX OFFICE OPEN AT PALASPORT
Tickets sales carry on without a break for the TIM All Star Volley 2007. Tickets will still be on sale tomorrow from the Mare&Volley Forli’s box office (Corso Diaz, 66 Forlì), both for allocated seats (sole agent) and stands from 8.30 to 12.30. The Volley Sammartinese box office will be open from 16.00 to 22.30 (info line 0543-480687).
Tomorrow afternoon from 14.00 to 19.30, tickets will be on sale at PalaFiera too; on sunday the box office will be open between 9.00 and 13.00 and from 14.00 to the beginning of the match.
ANASTASI’S 16 FOR THE TIM ALL STAR VOLLEY
A few hours to Anastasi’s new era with the National team, starting on sunday at the TIM All Star Volley 2007. The coach gathered 16 players for the occasion; the azzurri will face Harman Kardon Star A2 first (17.00 start) then JBL All Star A1.
