Lega Pallavolo Serie A is expanding its partnership with StageUp, a leading Italian-owned firm specializing in research and advisory services for the sports, culture, and entertainment markets. In addition to activities linked to the long-standing “Sponsor Value” research project, a new two-year agreement—effective from the 2025/2026 season—includes a media analysis service to evaluate the media value of the League’s sponsorships.

The partnership, spanning over twenty years, is built upon the periodic, multi-client “Sponsor Value” study. Conducted by StageUp in partnership with Ipsos Doxa, this study is considered an industry benchmark for measuring the value of sports sponsorships. It enables the analysis of SuperLega audience size and demographics—including comparisons with other sporting events—as well as the purchase intent generated by sponsorships.

Starting in the 2025/2026 season, the collaboration has expanded to include media analysis: StageUp analyzes the media return for the League’s sponsors and quantifies its economic value based on visibility achieved through television coverage (both traditional and streaming) and presence on proprietary social media channels.

This agreement comes at a time of growth for Lega Pallavolo Serie A, driven in part by the quality of its sponsorships. As highlighted by the 25th edition of the Predictive Survey conducted by StageUp in collaboration with ChainOn, there has been an increase in investment in the championship, resulting in €35 million in revenue for 2025 (a 9.3% increase compared to 2024).
