The first day of Volley Mercato 2026 has concluded, bringing together representatives of the 49 Serie A clubs at the Zanhotel & Meeting Centergross in Bentivoglio, just outside Bologna, for updates and discussions on various areas of work.

The first day opened with a roundtable discussion with the SuperLega clubs on “The Activities of the General Secretariat,” with a focus on Ticketing & Best Practices. In the afternoon, a meeting with the new Club Press Offices took place, while at 4:00 PM, a preview of the new Lega Pallavolo Serie A website homepage was unveiled, followed by a well-attended discussion on upcoming communication developments between the League and Serie A clubs. The event, titled “The new Lega Pallavolo Serie A website: evolution of the communication platform between functionality and opportunities,” featured speakers Stefano Corona (Sport Business & Marketing Advisor), Marta Mincuzzi (Partner – Client Strategy, Jakala), and Sonia Brambilla (Senior Associate Experience Design – Jakala).
In the afternoon, consultations were held for the Serie A2 and Serie A3 clubs, interspersed with a meeting entitled “Safeguarding in sport: concrete cases and the role of managers,” with Attorney Alessandro Avagliano (President of the FIPAV Safeguarding Office).
Tomorrow, the rosters of all 49 teams will be revealed, while the presentation of next season will take place on Thursday.
