3-1 against Cagliari last night in a beautiful match where all the athelets played amazingly giving their heart and soul to obtain the three points which allow them to stay just behind Verona, who won for 3-0 against Loreto.
Great performance by setter Bozidis, who managed to give the team calm and confidence, proving once more that all the atheletes are part of the starting six.
Bozidis: “We are satisfied with the three points but we can and must play better. Our aim is to carry on working hard to improve our game because the championship is still long and we will be facing many important challenges. I am happy to have been given the chance to play”.
Ass. coach Giovanni torchio: “after an up and down first set, the team losened up and played well and with attitude. Most of all I like the team spirit and the tightness between the boys both in training and during the matches.
Winning against Cagliari was important because it gave us continuity, now let’s think about Loreto and the next few matches when we will need to make as many points as possible waiting to meet Verona”.
