With three points in the safe, Mr Di Pinto’s boys have conquered safety, re launching the team for the play offs, being only two points away.

Padova stays 4th before last in hte standings, 2 points away from Corigliano.

The guests are playing without MB De Togni, at home with the flu, replaced by captain Davide Tovo. No problems for Perugia whose mistakes in the first set allow Padova to take off. It is 12-16 then 15-20 when Perugia imposes their game again. Kromm scores 2 consecutive points and Sintini’s block on Platenik brings them on 23-23. Padova waists 7 set balls and Perugia capitalises on their second one winning 33-31.

Determination and enthusiasm are back for Di Pinto’s team. They lead the whole set winning 25-21.

Serie A1 TIM will be back on court this thursday at 20.30 with the Regular Season’s penultimate appointment.
