The Under 16 team of the club continued to impress as it went through to the final of the Mater Young trophy. The six teams (Modena, Roma, Ortona, Friedrichshafen and the two home teams) were divided into two groups. In the semi final Castellana Grotte beat Modena 2-0 and will meet the winners of Friedrichshafen versus Ortona in the final.
