The Globo Sora team were on the losing end of a friendly game against Castellana Grotte. The southern team started its preparation two weeks earlier and, with Sora without Popelka (with his national team), the difference could be seen on court. Globo’s work at the net could do little against Brasilian Evandro (15 points), Castellano and Gallotta (13 and 17 respectively) well served by Mattera. This was still a positive challenge for Sora, who faced one of the big favourites of the A2 league this season.
