In the debut friendly against Cavriago a week ago, Bassano had managed a 2-2 draw but this time round it suffered its first defeat of the season against the same opponent (1-3). It’s never nice to lose, even in friendly games but it has to be said that Guarsise and co made great progress, especially in reception and on the serve. The next friendly should be home on Friday against Mantova but it could be cancelled due to a couple of injuries too many.
