“This was definitely an important point against Trento – said Lasko, who had an excellent performance in the tie-break loss – But I’m a bit disappointed anyway, we could have added more points. We’ve often criticised the lack of fighting spirit but on Sunday we did well in that regard. Our next game are Monza, Forli and Macerata, we want to gain points in all of these encounters. It is not easy to qualify for the Italian Cup but we’ll have a go at it”.
Meanwhile, Verona will play a friendly game on Saturday against Modena in Parma as part of the “Volley Town 2009”. The B1 game between Parma and S.Lazzaro Bologna will follow.
