José Javier Subiela will be one of Roma’s two starting middleblockers for the coming season. José had an excellent season with Santa Croce and he won the European Championships with Spain in 2007 under coach Anastasi’s orders.
“I arrive in a big city that follows volleyball a lot – said Subiela – I believe the team put together is better than the one that knocked us out of the playoffs last season”.
