In the second return game in the league, Bologna travelled to Santa croce and came back with a valuable 3-1 victory, which means it consolidates its fourth place in the table. Without Facundo Conte, Bologna had the better start in the first set (8-3) but the hosts came back within 1. However, Hugo Conte’s boys pulled away again and this time there was no way back for Santa Croce. In the second set, the hosts took the initiative early and never looked back. Bologna reacted fiercely to cruise to a 2-1 advantage and controlled things as well in the fourth set to go home with the victory. On Sunday, Bologna is on the road again, heading to Padova.
