League final in Bologna on May 9.
V-Day is looming ahead for Trentino and Cuneo. The two teams, which already met in the Cup final this seasons (Trento won 3-1), will fight for the league title this time.
The event will be played on one single game for the first time in Bologna’s Futurshow Station, bound to be packed.
Cuneo qualified and avoided game 5 thanks to an away win in Treviso. It will be its first final in 12 years. Indeed, Cuneo had lost the final against Treviso in 1997-98.
Trentino, which will be in Lodz, Poland, for the Champions League Final Four this weekend, will take part in their third consecutive final. They won the first in 2008 at the expense of Piacenza, which took revenge last season.
