During the assemble of the association of the Italian Volleyball League Serie A, held this morning in Bologna, President Claudio Sciurpa submitted his resignation.
Sciurpa took his decision to give up on the job following the letter of complaint from the players of Perugia, club of which he is the chairman.
The resignation of President Sciurpa was solely dictated by a desire to maintain the good image of the Volleyball League on the eve of a very important and fundamental season for the development of professional volleyball.
