Trentino made its pre-season debut without all the players involved in the World Championships. The European Champions surrendered at the tie-break against the Russians of Kazan. A positive first outing for Stoytchev’s team who made it really difficult for the Russians who are far ahead in their preparation.

“Despite a few too many lapses I am satisfied with what we showed on court – said coach Stoytchev – Tonight, we proved we had personality and that we were physically improving”.
